HOW TO ACHIEVE GLOWING SKIN, USING NATURAL FINISHING PRODUCTS

Getting the perfect glowing skin is a struggle that many of us go through. With the summer already here, a lot of us feel the pressure to have that beautiful sun-kissed look, but we don’t know how to go about it. “What products should we use?!” “What should our routine be?!” “ Don’t worry honey, we have put together a list of the easiest and most effective ways to help you get that gorgeous natural glow! If you are on a budget, don’t worry! We have some products within your budget!


OILS: To achieve glowing skin, the obvious method is to apply essential oils onto the skin, creating a glowy sun-kissed look. Though this method is bound to give you instant results, it will not give you long-term results so that you can have healthy, natural, glowing skin all year round. Oils containing a fragrance should be avoided, as they can cause irritation on sensitive skin. All citrus and spice-based oils such as lemon, grapefruit, mandarin, cinnamon, cumin, mint, etc. must always be diluted with carrier oils like coconut oil and jojoba oil. They will help to reduce the toxicity of the essential oil.


The most effective oils to apply directly on the skin, and have proven efficient for long-term results, are Organic Coconut oil, Argan oil, Jojoba oil, Olive oil, Sunflower oil, Almond oil, and Aloe vera oil.


MOISTURIZER: A step that should already be part of our daily routine, is moisturizing. This is most times, the final step of our daily routine. By massaging good organic moisturizer into the skin, you are locking in moisture, required to keep your skin looking fresh and dewy all throughout the day. Using moisturizers that are rich in natural oils is best for amazing results. 


Our favourite moisturizer is the Laugh Line Redefiner, is an excellent moisturizer that uses natural ingredients and oils, necessary for achieving and maintaining glowing skin.


WATER: The final step on our list that should be carried out multiple times throughout the day, is drinking water. Water helps keep you refreshed and hydrated, making your skin appear fresh and healthy. Drinking multiple cups of water per day, helps maintain your skin’s elasticity, and brightens the appearance of the skin, making it appear glowing and ‘young looking’.
